Another defeat but certainly not disgraced against a very good Park Villa team. The effort by everyone was first class and there were a couple of very good performances (Ally, particualrly in the first half, and Alex, who kept us in the game with some very good saves).

The first half was fairly even and we had two or three good chances with a couple cleared off the line but, couldn't take any of them. We went in behind, though, after conceding what was a very well worked goal.

With a few enforced changes in the 2nd half we lost our way in the game or, more accurately, Park Villa pciked up their's. Again, we had a few chances in the 2nd half but had only a consolation goal from McD to show for our efforts after conceding two more well worked goals.

It would be easy to feel sorry for ourselves but we must remember that we have the core of a good team and we are playing in the best league around - the standard is certainly a lot higher than we were used to in the P&D last year.

We are still working hard against teams and are almost always giving some very good teams a hard game . The only way to turn our season around is to keep working hard. Let's get the chins up and work hard on Monday and Thursday then see where it can take us next week.
