Bar Absolute welcomed Bradmore Rovers from the Welwyn league to Cadwell Lane for the 1st round of the county cup, and a promising start saw 2 quick goals from Ali Holmes and Lee Smith. Playing some good football on an uneven pitch further goals from Lee and Pete Morrison gave a comfortable 4 goal lead. Unforunately thinking we had already won,too many players tried to get on the score sheet, defending went by the wayside and 2 quick goals were conceded for a 4-2 half time lead. A regroup at half time seemed to work with Anthony Marshall, Ian Napier and a completion of his hat-trick by Lee ensuring a comfortable opening cup win.
