Dear Readers,
Fresh from County's magnificent League 2 championship win which has kept many of you up late I know,
We played a thoroughly entertaining friendly against a much improved and very skilled Harmony Row team.A nice way to spend a sunday recovering from County's magnificent L2 success, whose attendance almost surpasses that of Celtic.
We played some good football and it was a good workout for both teams. We recovered from 2-0 to draw the game with two fine goals from Fraser and Andy G who looked startlingly like County's right winger ,Ben Davies, who set up many of County's 96 goals in this amazing Championship winning season.
A few players played in different positions with Martin absolutely shinning in the left back position..watch out Anton and Anthony!!!!!Playing as well as that Martin reminds me of Jamie Clapham, County's left back in their thrilling Championship victory...real class and good tackling but brilliant join up play, especially with Liam, Andy and Fraser.....well done Martin, your commitment and attitude have been great!!!!!!
Andy G was supp mom with another impressive display upfront and notching another goal, an exact replica of the late equaliser v Erskine(oh God, that has brought back all those bad memories again),and also renolent of County's 5th yesterday by Luke Rodgers, crowning a blistering display as we secured the L2 chamionship in regal style.
So we now look forward to next weeks game v Barrhead where we need to beat them to stop them winning the league so we have it all to play for.
Well done lads and good luck with your exams this week.
Co u p's(did I mention that we were crowned League 2 championioneeioneieeeises yesterday?)
